Manual setup for Scan-to-folder for Savin PDF Print E-mail
  1. User tools, System settings, Administrator tools
  2. Go into Address Book Management
  3. Select New Program
  4. Under name, give it the name of the person or whatever you are going to call the scan destination; the Savin keyboard will pop-up on the display for all manual entries.
  5. Select the Folder tab and select change to change the path. The path will be entered the same way as it would be in the Web Image Monitor after you have already added the folder names “scans” and shared it out ie. \\server1\scans.
  6. Select the Auth. Info tab and depending on the model it’ll be on page one or two etc., you’ll see Folder and select Specify User Info. At that point it’ll let you put the user name and password for the computer after you have already added the username and password to the computer ie. Username scans, password scans. There is a button on the screen that allows you to test the connection if you so choose to do so.
  7. Select ok and ok and ok and exit out of the user tools menu and you should be all set.
