Savin Copy Only Instruction SheetSort/Rotate Sort – Select the button on the right side of the copier under the copy count.For Rotate Sort you must make sure you have letter size paper loaded in tray 1 and 2 in opposite directions. APS - Auto Paper Select – This means whatever size paper you have in your paper trays you can just place the same size in the document feeder and it will automatically choose the correct paper size for you without telling it manually. Bypass – This is the drawer off the side of the copier that allows you to copy other types of paper.For example, labels, envelopes, cardstock, thick paper, thin paper, letterhead.To use the bypass, load it with paper, choose the bypass button, press the # sign and choose the type of paper and press Start. Reduce/Enlarge – The shortcuts they have on the first screen are not very helpful for standard paper sizes, so press the Reduce/Enlarge button at the bottom of the screen and under Reduce there are presets for standard sizes as well as under Enlarge.You can also choose a manual percent by using the + or – keys. Double Sided Copies – There are a few shortcuts on the front or you can go into the menu that is called Dup/Combine/Series.Once in that menu choose what is your original and how you would like it copied. Page Numbers/Date Stamp/Watermark – To add page numbers to your packet, press the Edit/Color Creation button at the bottom of the screen, choose the Stamp button, and choose one of the three choices.From there you can choose the position on the page and other such criteria. Margin Adjustment – To create a margin on your paper, press the Edit/Color Creation button at the bottom of the screen, choose Margin Adj.From there you choose which margin to adjust and by how much. Mixed Size Packages – If you have a packet of paper that has some pages letter and some pages legal, place your packet in the document feeder, go to Special Original, and press the Mixed button.Remember you must have these two sizes loaded in your paper trays. Batch Scanning – If you have to copy more pages than can fit into the document feeder you can turn on batch scanning and complete this step all at one time.Batch scanning continuously scans your pages into memory until you’ve loaded your entire copy job, then it outputs all at one time.Press the Special Original key, press the Batch button and begin copying. Text – Text/Photo – Photo – These buttons allow you to tell the copier if your original is |
