Interrupt Button – To pause a copy job simply press the interrupt button once, make your copy and when finished press the interrupt button again and it will resume the previous job. Reduce/Enlarge – To reduce or enlarge go to the zoom button. Scroll through to choose a preset percentage or use the side arrows to scroll and create your own percentage. After choosing a percent, press the ok/enter key and then start. Paper Select – Press the paper select key until you see a picture of a hand and the word Bypass – then load the bypass tray (on the side of the machine) with the paper you would like to copy onto. Press Start Auto Selection – If your cassettes are loaded with Legal and Letter size paper and you have a mixed package of letter and legal to copy – press auto selection first, then press start and your package will recreate exactly as you’re original. Combine – The combine key takes 2 or 4 pages and shrinks it down to one page. Duplex – The Duplex/Split page key is for your double-sided copies. Press Duplex and scroll through the menu until you see the choice you would like, then press the Ok/Enter key, then Start. Border Erase – This key can white out the top margin of your paper – useful to white out the fax information from another company when then send you something through the fax. Press the Border Erase key, choose the amount to be erased, press the Ok/Enter key, and then press Start. Margin Adjustment – This allows you to add either a top or side margin to your sheet of paper. Simply choose the amount of margin, press the Ok/Enter key, Press Start. |
